What is a Celebrant?
A Celebrant is someone certified and trained to provide a personalised service which reflects the unique character and lifestyle of the person(s) being honoured or celebrated.

Why choose a Celebrant?
More than half of the UK population say they are not religious, and perhaps would not want a representative of an organised faith or religion to officiate at their funeral. An Independent Celebrant can prepare and deliver a service that befits the individual and their own philosophies of life and death. Unlike Humanists, an Independent Celebrant represents any and all faiths, and can incorporate prayers and blessings if asked, or omit religious references altogether. The choice is yours.
