You’re planning a wedding and want to make your day as special as can be… I’m delighted that you’ve found me. As an Independent Celebrant I have the privilege to lead services for people’s most personal and poignant life events, and weddings are certainly some of the most joyful and uplifting.

My background as a performing artist has given me many essential tools for leading inspiring, original and engaging ceremonies. As your Celebrant I can offer something that wholly represents you as a couple - a unique reflection of your love, and a service that puts your story, your passions and preferences at the heart of it all.

What to expect from a celebrant-led wedding?

Not a standard template or boring, one-size-fits-all script… unless that’s what you want, of course. As your Celebrant I weave my own ideas and suggestions with your wishes and needs to create a bespoke wedding service that is yours and yours alone. Funny or serious, traditional or unusual, pets, children or adults-only, all ideas are on the table.  And as an Independent Celebrant I am free to conduct services with or without religious elements, any location, anywhere - the choice is yours.


What’s the first step?

Please get in touch so we can arrange a ‘get-to-know-you’ meeting. This is free of charge - nothing to pay until you’re sure! Our meeting can be in person, by phone or video call, and helps you decide if I’m the Celebrant for you. We can discuss some initial ideas if that’s helpful, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have at this stage.

What comes next?

The fun of planning your ceremony begins!

  • I reserve your wedding date in my diary (I only ever conduct one wedding on any given date)

  • I offer a selection of ceremony ideas depending on your needs - music, readings, symbolic rituals, structure, etc

  • Based on our discussions and my ‘Wedding Questionnaire’ I create your wedding script, crafted around your love story and personal journey

  • Further meetings and discussions to refine the script until it’s perfect

  • A rehearsal, if required, to walk and talk through the important details of the ceremony

  • The ceremony itself

What are my services like?

My natural style is a balance of elegance, romance, sincere warmth and tasteful wit. I am a confident public speaker with a clear, direct delivery, and I pride myself on looking good for your event, but never upstaging the wedding party… they are the stars of the show!

Wedding FAQs

The short answer is no. In England and Wales only a Registrar or registered member of the Clergy can perform a legally binding marriage ceremony or civil partnership. In Scotland and Northern Ireland a Humanist Celebrant is also permitted to conduct legal wedding ceremonies. Most couples who choose a Celebrant-led wedding will arrange to sign their legal documents with a Registrar ahead of their wedding celebration, allowing the wedding day to be a personalised ceremony to share with family and friends.   • Where can we have our ceremony? Anywhere you want!

  • How long will the ceremony be? An average ceremony lasts around 20-25 minutes

  • Where will we meet? Wherever makes you comfortable…at your home, at a cafe or wherever has the right vibe for us!

  • What areas do you cover? Generally London and South-East England, but ask me to check if I can travel further.

  • Can we have a family member, friend or pet be part of the ceremony? Absolutely! Ring-bearer? 4-legged? Readings? Let’s chat about who and how.

  • Can we include hymns, prayers or other readings? Of course! Anything that makes the ceremony more meaningful to you.

  • Can we write our own vows? If you prefer to write your own, no problem. Or I can offer you help, options or suggestions.

  • Do we have to say our vows out loud? If you’re shy about speaking aloud in the service, no problem.


Prices for Weddings

My basic fee for a wedding ceremony is £795. This includes meetings, advice and guidance, your bespoke script, a rehearsal and the ceremony.

Renewal of Wedding Vows and Baby Namings start at £500. If you’d like me to conduct your wedding abroad, please get in touch for a quote.

Weddings in 2026 will be from £825.
